How much does it cost?
The Trans Camp Weekend event itself is free, the cost of food (two meals: breakfast and dinner on Saturday) and entertainmment is covered by our amazing donors. The cost associated with accomodations and camping supplies will vary based on the type of accomodation you choose and how long you stay. A yearly membership fee to the campground is also applicable. How do I reserve a spot to camp?
You must call The River’s Edge to make a reservation. Keep in mind that indoor accommodations fill up quickly, so reserve your site as far in advance as possible.
Do I have to camp/stay overnight to attend?
The River’s Edge does offer day passes for folks who wish to attend but not stay overnight. Day Pass attendies must check out by 11pm.
I'm cisgender/not trans, can I attend?
Trans Camp Weekend is intended to be a celebration of Trans Joy, and we welcome any respectful, allied folks who might fall outside the trans umbrella of identity. The River’s Edge is a gender-inclusive, LGBTQ+ establishment with room for all of us!
I'm under 21, can I attend?
The River’s Edge requires all patrons to be 21 or older and have a valid driver’s license. We cannot admit anyone under 21 to our camp event. We do host all-ages events throughout the year, and would love to see you there.
